PLAY DOH LOUNGE SET 2020

Asked to create a chair that “inspired,” I tapped into the memory of my favorite childhood toy. The 6 hand-sewn pillows become an endless variety of seating arrangements, giving each sitter a unique experience. The set is completed by a giant Play-Doh tub that doubles as a storage container and an accessory to the set. The piece is currently featured in the exhibition Chairs that Inspire in Rockefeller Center.
